Terms and Conditions
- Use of the Teaching Kitchen does not constitute Green Top Grocery endorsement of viewpoints expressed by participants in the program.
- All publicity for the events will not imply the sponsorship or support of Green Top Grocery. Use of our logo for these events is prohibited without prior approval.
- Reservation holders using the Teaching Kitchen must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Reservation holder is responsible for reimbursing Green Top Grocery for any damages, unusual cleaning expenses, or security measures related to the events. The Teaching Kitchen should be left in the same condition in which it was found.
- Reservation holder is responsible for the supervision of all children who may be present. Children should remain with the group or be supervised by an adult who must remain with them.
- Reservation holder must be present at the time of the event and must be 18 years of age.
- Smoking and alcohol are prohibited throughout the building.
- No tacks, nails, or tape are to be placed in or on doors, walls, windows, or furniture.
- Candles or any open flames are prohibited.
- Green Top Grocery assumes no responsibility for private/personal belongings.
- Green Top Grocery assumes no responsibility for personal injury to any person or damage to the property of others.
- Reservations that become disruptive to normal operations must end immediately.
- Our staff will monitor the use of the Teaching Kitchen and enforce all policies.
- Failure to abide by these policies and procedures will jeopardize future Teaching Kitchen use.
- Use of the Teaching Kitchen for a 3 hour period of time is free to Green Top Grocery owners once per calendar month. Additional time exceeding 3 hours can be reserved at $35/hour. (We do not charge by the half hour).
- Owners who wish to use the Teaching Kitchen in any kind of for-profit manner during their once per calendar month reservation (for example, direct sales) will pay a flat $50 fee.
- Reservation holders who wish to use the Teaching Kitchen in any kind of for-profit manner outside of their once per calendar month reservation allotment (for example, direct sales) will pay a flat fee of $50 plus $35/hour.
- Non-owners MAY reserve the Teaching Kitchen. A fee of $35/hour will be charged.
- Reservations can be made between 8:30am and 7:30pm daily.
- Reservation time shall include time for setup and cleanup. If your time exceeds your reservation slot, you will be charged for an additional hour. If your time in the space is less than you reserved, neither time nor money will be refunded.
- Payment must be made within 7 days of approval of the event, or prior to the event, whichever is sooner.
- Green Top Grocery has first priority on use of the Teaching Kitchen.
- Requests will be considered in the order in which they were received.
- We reserve the right to cancel a reservation because of weather related or building emergencies. A full refund will be made.
- A reservation must be canceled 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Reservations canceled less than 48 hours in advance will not receive a refund.
- We encourage use of Green Top Grocery products and deli for your food needs while in our Teaching Kitchen. However, if that isn’t possible, outside food can be brought into the Teaching Kitchen.
- NO consumption of alcoholic beverages before use of the Teaching Kitchen.
- Attendees of classes must be registered prior to class and sign documentation before class.
- Customers that are not registered to class are not able to attend unless they read and accept the Teaching Kitchen rules provided online / in-person prior to their admission.
- Individual persons registered for a class must request a refund from Green Top Grocery at least 4 hours prior to class. Any no-shows or cancellations less than 4 hours before the start of class will not be refunded.
