No! Anyone can use the kitchen. It’s open to public use, subject to terms and conditions.

The Teaching Kitchen is available for use for $35/hour.

Use of the Teaching Kitchen for a 3 hour period of time is free to Green Top Grocery owners once per calendar month. Additional time exceeding 3 hours can be reserved at $35/hour. (We do not charge by the half hour).

Collab & Cook – Team Building Workshop:

Green Top Grocery will provide you with a cook to lead participants through a cooking demonstration to develop team-building skills through the art of cooking

Fees & Reservations

  • Reservations can be made online. Please allow time for processing
  • Reservation time shall include time for setup and teardown. If your time exceeds your reservation slot, you will be charged an additional hour. If your time in the space is less than you reserved, neither time nor money will be refunded.
  • Repeating reservations may be made four at a time
  • Green Top Grocery has priority on the use of the Teaching Kitchen
  • Requests will be considered in the order in which they were received

General Use & Conduct

  • Use of the Teaching Kitchen does not constitute Green Top Grocery endorsement
  • All publicity for the events will not imply the sponsorship or support of Green Top Grocery. Use of our logo for these events is prohibited without prior approval.
  • Reservation holders using the Teaching Kitchen must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Reservations that become disruptive to normal operations must end immediately
  • Green Top Grocery staff will monitor the use of the Teaching Kitchen and enforce all policies

Food & Beverage

  • We encourage the use of Green Top Grocery products and deli for your food needs while in our Teaching Kitchen. If this is not possible, outside food can be brought into the Teaching Kitchen
  • In accordance with state law, alcohol may only be consumed by individuals 21 years of age. Any alcohol consumed on the premises must be purchased at Green Top Grocery and may not exceed the boundaries of Green Top Grocery’s property

Payment

  • Deposit: Upon arrival payment must be made in full before use of the teaching Kitchen.
  • Payment Method: We accept cash, all major credit cards, and business checks.

Policies

Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel a reservation because of weather-related or building emergencies. A full refund will be made. A reservation must be canceled 48 hours in advance for a full refund; reservations canceled less than 48 hours will not receive any refund.

Postponement: please contact us as soon as possible

Age Requirements: Must be 18 to reserve. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

Decorations: No tacks, nails, or tape (with the exception of painter’s tape) are to be used on doors, walls, windows, or furniture. Candles or any open flames are prohibited.

Decor Set Up & Take Down: Any decor you would like to use for your event must be sourced, brought in, set up & taken down by you.

What's Included

Furniture: In the Teaching Kitchen, we provide four 30×29.5 and eight 23×23.5 tables, as well as 19 chairs. All Teaching Kitchen furniture is for indoor use.

Appliances: The Teaching Kitchen includes a Thermador oven, range, and hood. Also included is an Amana fridge & freezer, a commercial microwave, a Pro 600 Kitchen Aid mixer, a Cuisinart Pro Custom 11 food processor, and an Oster blender. We provide a variety of cookware and tableware, including but not limited to plates, cups, and cloth napkins. Reservation holder may bring their own at-home cookware if they would like.

Audio/ Visual: Equipped with a 49-inch LG TV with HDMI compatibility for presentations or slide shows. UNV IP camera to display the cooktop for guests throughout the space to see, and access to several 120V outlets.

Setup: Time for setup is included in the time reserved for the Teaching Kitchen. Reservation Holders may not arrive for setup before the start of the reserved time.

Dishes: Plates, coffee cups, glassware, silverware, baking sheet, cutting board, water station

Responsibilities of Reservation Holders

  • The reservation holder is responsible for reimbursing Green Top Grocery for any damages, unusual cleaning expenses, or security measures related to their event.
  • The Teaching Kitchen should be left in the same condition in which it was found
  • Reservation holders are responsible for the supervision of all children who may be present. Children should remain with the group or be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • The reservation holder must be present at the time of the event and must be 18 years or older.
  • Green Top Grocery assumes no responsibility for private/personal belongings.
  • Green Top Grocery assumes no responsibility for personal injury to any person or damage to the property of others.
